Final Project

Pervious Designs :

From that simple beginning the challenge was set: using good design and sustainable plywood to create a fully-working model that's instructive of engineering principles, engaging to assemble, functional, reliable and fascinating to see in action. Laser-cut plywood allows almost limitless design possibilities. Where mold plastic involves expensive tool costs, every part in a plywood construction can be custom-designed to suit its function. Ultimately, the biggest restriction is your imagination! For electronics I would use DC motor ( Output device ) to run the elevator , and object detection sensor ( Input device ) to turn on motor each time marbles reach elevator.

Final project ( Snail )

The Snail

A Marble Machine is a creative ball-run contraption, made from familiar materials, designed to send a rolling marble through tubes and funnels, across tracks and bumpers, and into a catch at the end.The new design of the elevator(Snail) has a LDR sensor at the bottom to sense when a marble arrive, once it arrive, it would turn the motor on to left the marble to the top of the track, when it reach the top another LDR sensor turn off the motor, and the marble rolls on the track using gravity to the buttom

What questions were answered?

How was it evaluated?

What worked? What didn't?

The marble elevator and the track worked great, Sometimes marble jumps off the track.

What I have learned so far?

Time project management involves the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling of time spent on a project. It is a crucial aspect of project management as it helps ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. This process includes identifying the tasks that need to be completed, estimating the amount of time it will take to complete each task, and creating a schedule that outlines when each task will be done. Additionally, time project management involves monitoring the progress of the project and making adjustments as needed to keep it on track. It requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as effective communication and collaboration with team members.
